Finished with a blend of special wax and gunstock oil, the back of the StingRay's neck feels smooth, allowing easy playability. The 5-bolt attachment, a hallmark of Music Man's design, brings stability that makes this bass feel solid, through and through.
The StingRay Special also sports a select hardwood body, a 34" scale length, and 22 Stainless Steel frets for durability. The Custom Music Man tuning machines and Melamine nut contribute to its stability, and its Vintage Music Man Topload Steel Bridge, with Vintage Nickel-Plated Steel Saddles, create a classic aesthetic and solid intonation.
