Today, the Gibson Custom Shop offers the 1957 Les Paul Junior Reissue in their Historic collection, crafted by the finest luthiers.

The Les Paul Junior is still relevant today, exemplifying beauty through simplicity with an unbound solid mahogany body in classic Vintage Sunburst. The VOS - or Vintage Original Spec - finishing treatment offers the allure of a vintage guitar traveling through a time machine. (Traveling in its guitar case, of course!) Its very lightly aged hardware and finish make for a new guitar with an already broken in look and feel.

This Les Paul Junior's mahogany neck features a mighty 50s Rounded Medium "C" profile, long tenon neck joint with hide glue fit, Indian rosewood fingerboard with 22 Authentic Medium Jumbo frets, pearloid dot inlays, 1.687" nylon nut, and authentic 1950s No-Tube truss rod - which has been in practice since the early days of Gibson.

Delivering the goods is a single Gibson Custom Dogear P-90, wired the right way to CTS 500K Audio Taper Potentiometers with a Paper-in-Oil Capacitor. Certificate of Authenticity is included in its Gibson Custom Hardshell Case.
