Caroline Limited Edition Meteore 10th Anniversary Special Lo-Fi Reverb Effect Pedal

Materializing in true, slick, lo-fi fashion, we have the Caroline Météore 10th Anniversary Special Reverb. With a decade of intriguing lo-fi reverb tones in the bag and surely only more to come, today's limited edition Météore is a star-studded showcase of one of Caroline's standby effects.

Let's throw it back to 2015. With so many reverb effects on the market then and now, there's still a reason why we've got the Météore. The Météore, a lo-fi reverb effect inspired by some of history's best "Silverface" amplifier spring reverbs, is an effect that plays with the best of Caroline character and inventiveness. Caroline originally conceived of the Météore after receiving great positive feedback from their Kilobyte delay pedal and wondering how they might translate some of the characteristics of its design into the reverb realm. Gravitating into the spring-style persuasion of reverb, the Météore captures honest, authentic spring reverb tones and only expands out from there.

An analog preamp drives the effect's wet side to inch sounds into driven and distorted territories while its Size and Feedback controls push the natural qualities of the reverb into the synthetic as its tones get more cacophonic and noisy. The Météore's Havoc footswitch enables the reverb's feedback to be cranked on command, causing a ruckus and making a name for itself.

All at once, the Météore 10th Anniversary Special Reverb is a reliable, authentic reverb, an alternative, textural soundscaper, and a veritably cacophonic dream machine. Just as it impressed in the ten years since its introduction, the Météore gets the red carpet treatment today and continues to impress again and again.

  • Limited tenth anniversary Caroline Météore lo-fi reverb effect
  • Level, Attack, Regeneration, and Size setting controls
  • Dark/Bright tone switch
  • Havoc oscillation footswitch
  • Standard nine-volt DC center negative power operation
  • Hand-crafted in Columbia, South Carolina
