1970 Fender Super Reverb Combo Guitar Amplifier - Used
This 1970 Fender Super Reverb has been dated here in the house by its serial number, transformer codes, and cosmetic features. This amplifier schematic is listed as an AB763, giving it similar tonal features to the later blackpanel-early silverpanel Fender amplifiers. This has a modified/added Line Out feature on the back panel. The electrolytic capacitors, two prong cord, and standby switch have been replaced to modern parts. All four of the original CTS speakers have been replaced to modern Jensen P10R 8ohm speakers.
This amplifier is in good condition with the usual wear you'd find on an amp of this time period. The grille cloth has a few small tears and has aged to a deep brown color. The tolex has stayed intact with only a few blemishes.
